There is have another one way to open the fiscal calendar period opening through Back-end support.
Go to the Development Work space (Ctrl+D) Table name is LedgerFiscalCalendarPeriod
Data Dictionary >> Tables >> choose the LedgerFiscalCalendarPeriod table name and open it. You can get the list of all the periods which is belongs to the Fiscal calendar period same like the below image.
In the first column if you moved the courser that will list you the month name. Based on that you have to choose the particular Row. From there you have to change the status as Open, Hold, Closed.
Then save the Table and exit from there. Now you can post your regular entries.
Note:
1) This is recommended to do who is having good experience to handle the AX either Technical or Functional.
2) Not recommended to change the status which is on Closed.
